Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the service team while fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Plan and organize service operations in accordance with service standards and quality guidelines
  • Create staff schedules and coordinate team deployment within the restaurant and bar
  • Ensure outstanding guest satisfaction through professional guest care and effective complaint handling
  • Drive upselling initiatives and support revenue growth within the restaurant
  • Manage ordering for the restaurant and bar, including checking deliveries, delivery notes, and returns
  • Maintain and continuously develop the wine list, bar menu, and beverage selection, including administration within the POS system
  • Conduct daily team briefings and organize training sessions to support continuous learning and knowledge sharing
  • Monitor service quality, cleanliness, and compliance with the hotel's quality standards
  • Organize and manage table reservations
  • Work closely with the kitchen, front office, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Step into a service station or support the bar whenever required, particularly during the absence of a Chef de Rang

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Completed training in hospitality or hotel management (e.g., restaurant service, hotel service) or equivalent professional experience
  • Several years of experience in high-end service, ideally in a leadership position within a restaurant or hotel
  • Excellent knowledge of food, beverage, and wine
  • Experience in staff management and team coordination
  • Strong skills in guest relations and complaint management
  • Solid understanding of key business figures and sales promotion
  • Knowledge of hygiene regulations and allergens
