The construction technique - 100% wood and local materials
100% wood, glass, stone – natural materials that are mostly found in our region. It goes without saying that we use natural, organic and local products to create a comfortable living environment.

Unspoilt Nature
Almhotel Forsthofalm lies 1,050 meters above sea level and is surrounded by mountain pastures, woods, gentle grassy hills and rocky mountains. Our goal is not only to use natural materials in our hotel, but to make the natural surroundings part of every room.

Our hotel is built as a passive construction, meaning it has low energy requirements and therefore contributes to the protection of the environment. We strive to use alternative energy sources whenever we can. In our opinion we as human beings have a duty to contribute to a healthy environment.
