Travelling in the high season
If you are travelling in
the high season, we recommend avoiding arriving between 12 noon and 5pm, as
there may be traffic congestion.
We recommend travelling early in the morning. This way, you will avoid unnecessary delays on the roads and our hotel will treat you with an excellent breakfast for being an early bird.
Winter season: winter gear for your car
Please ensure you equip your car
adequately in winter. We recommend using excellent winter tyres and taking snow
chains with you, as the road conditions may be dangerous especially on snowy
days.
Travelling in the high season
If you are travelling in
the high season, we recommend avoiding leaving between 10am and 2pm, as there
may be traffic congestion.
We recommend leaving early in the morning, or spending one more day in the
Alps. Usually, leaving after 2pm will prove more relaxing.
